My husband and I were recently in Orlando and doing a little grocery shopping at the Publix strip mall on Central Florida Parkway. When walking out of the market, my husband spotted Pearl's Chinese Restaurant closeby, so we went in to try it out. We were not disappointed. It is a very small little restaurant with pleasant music playing. Pearl's appeared to be a family-owned business. The owner took our orders and within three minutes brought us each a hot egg roll and duck sauce. Our entrees took only a few short minutes to prepare and it was delivered to us piping hot with fresh stir-fried chicken and fresh vegetables perfectly cooked. Delicious! The lunch menu runs until 3:30pm and most selections are only $5.99, with one or two costing $6.99-$7.99. The lunch menu includes your entree, white or fried rice, and an egg roll or soup (hot & sour, egg drop, or wonton). We were very pleased with our service and the quality of our food. I highly recommend Pearl's Chinese Restaurant.

This is a very nice local Chinese restaurant. Easy to locate, in a strip mall, very near a Publix. They are located on Central Florida Parkway, perhaps one or two blocks off International Drive. The menu is varied, and they are flexible with substitutions. One dish not to be missed is the House Special Soup, loaded with fresh ingredients, a real treat. Portions are more than ample, so count on a second meal with leftovers. Prices are reasonable and our server was very gracious and patient as we worked our way through the menu. This is close enough to the Convention Center area and yet just enough removed to avoid crowds - also near Sea World and numerous resorts. Nice surroundings, not trying to be something they are not - just a nice spot for very good Chinese cooking.
