A lot of options in the menu from Desi to American. The prices are reasonable and food is tasty. Staff is nice, I forgot my sun glasses at the restaurant and surprisingly got them back the next day.
For the price these guys are a rip off. I had a conversation with the owner about his price and he flat out said I have no competition. Food is very slow to come out. Taste isn't anything spectacular. Service is sub par. And hours mean nothing as we were forced to take our food to go since he wanted to close early. I've had great experiences dining at Paramount and Sinbad Mediterranean.
We visited charcoal zyka after reading a few tripadvisor posts. Needless to say we were not disappointed. Yes, maybe the decor isn't great but it's a pretty much standard to any small establishment in a strip mall environment and adds character. So this did not bother us one bit. Our server was polite and we were well attended too. While the food did take a little bit longer than expected it wasn't a bother and in fact from the taste of the food you can tell everything is being made fresh and I for one have no problems waiting a small bit longer for freshly prepared food. From other reviews, we tried the butter chicken and it was fantastic. So was the lamb vindaloo and navartan korma. Charcoal zyka in my opinion, has authentic Indian dishes that can rival any top restaurant. I would highly recommend them when in orlando and around the I drive area. Great experience.
