I agree wholeheartedly with the other review. This place is a tourist trap, pure and simple. We ordered a pizza. It cost 1800 yen – about $18US. Ok. The place is down the street from one of the biggest tourist attractions in Japan. I understand it's gonna be expensive. But all the same, you might expect something more than what was obviously a frozen pizza with a few fresh mushrooms tossed on it for good measure. That is pure greed. In addition, as the other reviewer said, there is an air of pretention about the place, which is reflected by the staff, that is extremely rare in any Japanase restaurant I've ever been to, and I've lived here for 12 years. This is the worst restaurant I've ever been to in Japan, and, for the money, very likely the worst I've ever been to in my life. Avoid it at all costs.
This is the sort of thing that you can get at any low-grade restaurant, but served with pretension and twice the price that it is worth, The location is good, but within a few meters either way there are several attractive authentic Japanese-style restaurants that serve aesthetically arranged dishes. And if you want a Salisbury steak, fried shrimp or pizza, which NoaNoa seems to specialize in then there are more interesting--and cheaper--options in the neighborhood.
