Comfortable surroundings, great food, innovative preparation/presentation and a diverse menu. Tried the spaghetti marinara and my husband tried the gnocchi. YUM Tiramisu is delicious. Wine/drinks to suit most tastes. Cost is moderate. Will return.
This place is too focussed on maximising their profits at the expense of their customers' dining experience. Two adults and an eight year experienced the following on a moderately busy Saturday night: - good waiting staff just not enough of them - not enough menus (allow for a 5 -10 minute wait) - kitchen very slow (allow 60 - 90 minutes for meals to arrive) - vegetables are minimal and of the frozen supermarket style - Tiny children's meals (order two (we had to) or go adult size) Overall a long drawn out unpleasant experience, that we recommend you avoid (we certainly will).
Having dined in this restaurant in its previous guise as a Greek Taverna we were keen to try the Italian version. The promise of Sicilian Food lured us in and we were not disappointed. OK we were not transported to Palermo but the Seafood pasta and the Pasta with Anchovies , Pine nuts , Raising really did deliver . Great texture , good flavours. Only negative was the lack of Italian wines on the wine list , very strange. Service was good, pricing was good and when you compare this to other Italian places the value here was very good. Would have loved a Sardine dish with Couscus and broth , but nothing that authentic was available . Still cannot wait to go back and enjoy the rest of the menu, we will bring our own Italian Wine
