Plenty of tables so there was no need to wait. The buffet is very good with a large selection of fruits, hot and cold food. We did not have to rush so had an excellent meal in a relaxed environment. I can recommend this to anyone wishing to start their holiday at ease.

We have been coming to gatwick for seven years pre holiday flight and always enjoyed the service and the food for our pre holiday meal in the garden restaurant This year 12/06/16 was exceptional . Michael what a lovely person going above and beyond. To ensure we had a lovely evening , nothing was too much trouble Food was lovely, chick pea and lentil curry, chicken curry , excellent , gammon roast beautiful cheese board etc The manager and the staff are a credit to the hotel Such a contrast to the very poor service in the bar

With a title like the Garden Restaurant you expect it to be a quiet place to relax and eat good food! The first area you have to pass through is a loud sports bar area! The choices on the cold buffet were lacking in meats etc to go with the abundance of salad choices ! There was only one choice of hot meat on the carvery which was Gammon and as I don't like Gammon there was no alternative hot meat available! The choice of veg to go with it was quite frankly poor .. Broccoli with a cheese sauce? The carvery needs to be sorted out to give a much better choice for guests wanting a traditional carvery. We were hurried by staff who wanted tables laid up for breakfast ! The prices do not reflect the quality of food.. are too expensive for what you get!! Sorry but that's the reality!
