This is, arguably, one of the best patisseries in Paris, which means that it is one of the best on Earth. In addition to their pastries, they also have wonderful croissants, bread, and even pate. It is right across from the Marche Couvert, where you can get the very best cheese, vegetables, fish, and all sorts of things.

This high end "Traiteur" offers a great artisan "boulangerie" section (you can have your coffee and croissant or sandwich on premises), a fabulous "patisserie" counter (including macaroon and crafted chocolate. Try their signature "Amaryllis" cake) and a sophisticated "salted" section with a nice variety of salads, sandwiches, gourmet cold and warm dishes. Closed on Wednesday !
