This is a conglomerate of the last 5 or 6 visits I've made. It's in an uninspiring location tucked in the corner of a kind of mall with a large car park outside and weirdly, an all night poker club. Food can be better than average with a good menu. The ambiance is nice, whether inside the building or in the little olive tree lined terrazzo. But the prices are much higher than nearby restaurants and the food isn't 50% better as the prices are. It depends on what you order. A hamburger here for example is not as good as in Fattoria a mile up the Cassia and the pasta is not better than restaurants in Formello but there are some dishes that are exceptional e.g. the Melanzane and some of the fish. They are also less laid back with children than other places, and turned away a group of us recently when we wanted to have a table of adults and for a birthday treat a table of 4 beautifully behaved 10 year old girls, dressed for a special dinner who wanted to sit at an adjacent table. It was apparently 'policy.' After 18 months of living in Italy it's the only kind of policy for anything seen in action, and strange it was levelled at children. But maybe they had bad experiences in the past, which I can imagine. So it's a mixed score card. The atmosphere is good and the design concept taken seriously if that's what you like. It's always full of stylish locals and tables of teenagers so it must count as trendy for this part of the North Cassia. Depends on what you're looking for.

We enjoyed an unexpectedly amazingly delicious meal at KOOK in Olgiata, near our holiday exchange home, on our way back from our visit to Ostia Antica. The design and atmosphere is thrilling, inspiring, unique and trendy. The staff were very friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD. All six of us (my family and our eldest daughter's boyfriend) were enjoying the food SO much, thank you for a wonderful and lasting experience! I would recommend this to all my friends, family and food lovers! And if you are looking for an inspiring dining venue: just have a LOOK at the photo's on their website!!!
