I thought the food here was pretty good. The brisket in the pho was sliced thin and therefore, wasn't tough to chew. I like the onions they put in - not every pho place does that. I prefer to go to a pho place nearby on 4th since the atmosphere is a little better, prices a little lower and they serve hot tea complimentary with your meal. There was one girl staff member who obviously didn't speak English very well who was difficult to hear/understand while being seated, ordering and then paying. Wouldn't be against going here again, though, if someone suggested it but it's not my first Pho choice.
Thought I'd give it a try. Went in and asked to see menu. They handed me one but it was all in Viet Namese. Did two tours in Viet Nam but didn't get that fluent in the language. So not knowing what to order I left. Hard to rate so to be fair I gave it 3 stars. There was one other person waiting on an order so it's frequented.
I work in the neighborhood and have been coming here weekly for a few months. Aside from being a little inconsistent, the food is pretty good, fast, and cheap. My last visit here was yesterday. I forgot a hat and very nice scarf on a chair at my table. I called and was told they had it and said I'd be in to pick it up. When I showed up to pick it up I was told that it had been thrown away. What?? I'm a customer?! I was coming back to get it. I won't be a customer anymore. The review above from 2008 is a little dated in that they don't know or care for their customers.
