I've just completed eating take-away Sashimi Box from here. It was really good! All made fresh, and was accompanied with gyoza and tempura vegetables, and a delicious miso soup. Quite reasonable prices. Very very good.

Discovered Tany's on one of our frequent trips back to Redfern, now we travel 200km's and stay the night so we can include Tany's on our dining list. This is as good as the local food we experienced in Japan. The service is warm and friendly and reasonably priced. It's only a small intimate place and is usually packed for dinner so booking is advisable. They do a great $10 Bento Box range and good luch specials.
