Early mid week dinner with young family. This restaurant was recommended to us by friends. Upon arrival we noticed a note taped to the door that it was cash only and there were no ATMs in the vicinity. Inside we were welcomed by pleasant staff who offered bank transfers as alternative an method of payment. The menu didn't appear that authentic, rather the standard Tex-Mex fare found in suburbia. The serving sizes were underwhelming and the food wasn't that special. The overall feel was that the restaurant had seen better days and now just going through the motions.
Fun atmosphere and lovely food, very well priced. They really make a birthday special, dimming the lights and letting the birthday person wear a sombrero. Only issue with this restaurant is it smells a little damp and the toilets are dirty.
After looking forward to eating here for the past few month, we attended on a rainy Saturday night. Get seated in a very small table in the back corner. About 35 minutes later we had not even been looked at. Not even a glass of tap water. After a further wait of 20minutes we had no water, not one staff to even look at us and a head ache from the extremely noisy group tables. In attempts to gain the wait staffs attention to simply ask for some tap water we decided that we had had enough and that we should leave if we wanted to get any food for dinner as it was now past 9pm! Leaving our table, walking through the whole restaurant not one staff member came to ask us what the issue was. Very disappointing and will not be returning.
Been to this restaurant several times now and really enjoyed the food everytime. The burittos, tacos, quesadillas, nachos, jalapenos etc all good with selection of what evers meats you want. The serving sizes are good for the price, it wont cost you an arm and a leg to eat out. The servers are all friendly, just rushed as it seems like this place is always packed out.
