It's the first time my friends and i went to Mr Ko and the food was really good. The service was also good. The decor really shocked me as it doesn't look like the picture on the website it is very dated. I think if they updated the decor and made it a bit more attractive i'm sure they would have more people eating in rather then takeaway. They had more people ordering and collecting takeaway then people in the restaurant which is a shame.
Five in the family visited this restaurant on Saturday night. Very busy, but the service staff handled it extremely well. This is a long standing restaurant in the area of at least 20 years now. Most kids in this area grew up with this restaurant, and now their kids will grow up the same. Staff are very courteous and friendly. Food is brilliant. The decor is very plain, but I prefer good food and a plain decor to great decor and average food. I will be visiting again.
We had take away at Mr Ko's which was our favourite Chinese restaurants when we were younger. Unfortunately things have changed (owners) and the food is not quite as good. However in saying that Mr Ko's is good for the area especially if you don't want to travel to Cabramatta or further. I may try again one time when I visit the area if Chinese is what everyone wants, otherwise I will stick to my favourite Turkish and/or Indian restaurants in Liverpool.
