We love the food here, but if you're tight for time I wouldn't go here. The staff can be quite rude and are not very attentive. We sat with empty glasses and plates for 25 minutes without anyone asking if we wanted another drink or desert or even to pay the bill. It wasn't particularly busy either as there were a number of empty table, making it pretty unacceptable service. Despite this the food was really tasty and we did enjoy the meal. I do know, as we lived local, that this place gets really busy on Fridays and Saturdays so I would recommend booking if you are going to go.

Pretty difficult to discern differences between the plethora of Thai restaurants that abound on the northern beaches but a couple do stand out. Balance Thai at Seaforth has the essential ingredients that help you to discriminate in a very crowded landscape. Excellent menu selection, great tastes, BYO and fast service. Pricing is a little higher but the quality and flavours level the playing field. They have a second restaurant very close by, Next Balance Thai, Stockland Mall.

We live in the area and typically go to Balance at least once or twice a week. The food is exceptional and always predictable with the same quality each time. They have not changed the menu for years and we have come to select a few of our favourite dishes. Service is pleasant and efficient, fast and delicious. We have tried other Thai restaurants but always end up at Balance.
