This place is not inviting at all... 80's style menu, service and setup. I thought I was in a time warp, and the food quality was left behind Reminded me of the old 80's grace brothers or shopping centre bistros First time here, and the last! Best thing was the outdoor play area for the kids...
The location of this café is perfect, right next to an (almost) fully fenced park. The kids would have to run past their parents to get to the carpark, so from that aspect, it is really safe. I find the food to be fairly pricey so although it is only a 10 minute walk from our house, we don't visit the café often. I guess they have a monopoly, there is no other park with a café in the suburb.
Being new to Glenmore Park I decided to take my kids to have a coffee and a play as the reviews where fantastic. I was left very disappointed and annoyed at the owner of the cafe and behavior of staff my children left upset and I will not return. The owner felt it was her right to approach children in the park (which isn't owned by the cafe) and yell at them. She yelled at my child for telling his sister to be careful of the babys as she felt that was picking on children as the child was 3 and not a baby. This behavior isn't appropriate from any adult let alone a business owner. We will not return as we have never been treated so poorly at any cafe.
