drinks came quick. staff friendly but low attention. lasagne came first.. hmm. 3 layers on a big plate with a little bit of meat. never seen in italy or whatever lasagna like this... dish of my partner arrived 10 min. later...ravioli. Unluckily the did not taste like spinach. .. they hardly hadn't any taste and were very soft, overcooked. price was o.k. Ambiente ... just a kind of empty room.
Tried 2 different dishes of pasta aswell as pizza. Both really amazing. The staff is really friendly and nice. All in all a laid back atmosphere and a place you should go to if you like italian food!
Potentially. . Because I had Thai food when I visited firenze this evening. Yes yes. . It is supposed to be an Italian restaurant but I can't help not ordering Tom yum goong and phad Thai. Also had a glass of mandarin orange juice. Juice was fresh not from bottle, the way I like. The phad Thai was good, so was the Tom yum. Price was in the usual 120 to 200 baht range, so it's what I consider reasonable for a tourist. I had eyeballed the basil pesto spaghetti and pizza magharita but chose to stay away from cheese for the time being. The small pizza with thin crust, the way I like, is 95 baht. It's on the things to eat for the rest of this trip. I had my meal around 6pm and was the only customer there. Come here if you want a delicious meal at a quiet cafe the next time you are in Krabi
This place has been here years from what I remember and I am surprised it doesn't feature higher as I think the owner is Italian and he knows Italian food! Food was excellent, and one big difference compared to 'Thai' Italian food was that it wasn't too heavy on the garlic. Many tourist restaurants in Thailand use far too much garlic, they must think Farang likes garlic! Thai's impersonation of western food is pretty bad so unless you want Thai food then stick to expat run places for mure authentic food, like this place. It was quiet when I went in there but it was Sunday night and the whole town seemed dead!
