Wondered here after a cancelled business dinner. It is the pleasant but a bit quiet, seems to be a place for locals. The food is decent if not great. My 48hr cooked lamb shank should have the meat falling off the bone. A microwave may have been involved. The chef should come out and and admit his sins but they get an extra point for excellent service

We stumbled across this restaurant whilst strolling at the back of our hotel. Without a reservation we were greeted warmly by a member of staff and shown to a table immediately. The restaurant was quite full and the ambience was palpable. We were served olives and bread for starters but also received a small portion of Jerusalem artichoke soup which we drank ( from a shot sized container) . It was an amazing aperitif !!....... Our main meals were beef and pasta and a lamb shank - both five star quality, presentation and taste. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough - it oozes quality and the staff have such a commanding presence , you know you are recevimg the most excellent of service.
