I'm impressed with Berlin, great vibe and very safe. A good food scene and more reviews to do but straight after landing we headed to Dom Curry, just on the edge of the Gendermanmarkt. A sunny hot day and beautiful surroundings. This could only mean a Currywurst, with fries, mayo and of course a cold,cold beer. The wurst is served in real china plates based on the paper ones that other stalls use. Little silver forks and lots of comfy chairs to sit on around the 'cabin' that serve this great staple up nearly all day and night. Lovely service as well, so perfect. The food was simple, historic and great value at under €10 including the beer. Go here and chill, enjoy and reflect...remember there's another stand down the road that you can stop off at but Dom C is one of the best.

So a friend and I heard about a famous Berlin dish called Currywurst and since we're Muslims we couldn't eat it from any other shops since it all had pork. We heard about this shop and we decided to visit. It's across the street from the Hilton and is near 2 U stations (both are covered by the U2 line but cant remember the names). We went and had the Ostrich beef Currywurst (the only one without Pork) and it was one of the best things I've ever had (Ok I may be overrating it a bit but it's truly amazing). Definitely returning in the near future.
