We visited the said tavern three days ago. It was Easter Day and because of it, they ONLY served skewered lamb, nothing else in terms of meat (e.g. sausages or steaks ). We were 7 people out of which 2 were children bellow 5 years of age, i.e. 5 adults out of which only 3 like lamb and therefore we only ordered 1 kg of lamb. The rest of our order was 6 plates of fried potatoes, 2 plates of sagaki (fried cheese) 2 plates of cheese balls ("tyrokroketes" in Greek), one plate of tzatziki , 2 plates of Greek salad. We ordered three bottles of beer (500 ml) and 1/2 kilo of white carafe whine. Please mind that only the lamb is considered to be main meal (dish), all the rest are considered to be starters, in any other tavern in Greece. Please also note that none of the above were of any delicious taste or of big quantity. And to our greatest surprise, we had to pay EUR 140. But the most outrages of all is that they refused to print an analysis of the bill claiming that their system cannot make a reprint. It is the first time in my life, that I am asked to pay EUR 105 for starters, three beers and 1/2 kilo of wine, (as 1 kg of lamp costed EUR 35), in a TAVERN.

This traditional tavern futures a great outside sitting area that is unique for a summer dinner. The restaurant is located right at the end of the residential zone of the mount Penteli, next t it, the mountainous are starts; this makes it the coolest ever restaurant in AThens while in a hot summer day; lots of Athenians know that there are breezes of air coming from the mountain when a heat wave strikes the city. The next great thing about it are the lamp chops, their specialty, or pork hops. Veal is not that great. Grilled plevrotous mushrooms are great along with something called melitznoboureko. The salad called Krystallis is good to. The service and behavior with a smile complete the image f a good restaurant especially attractive in spring and summer.
