I was here last summer and I must say that I wasn't disappointed with the food nor the beer and cannot complain about the service either. The beer garden is fairly large, with plenty of room for the kids to run around. The ambiance and view aren't up to much, but this place offers Jazz concerts and also has a very popular party service with a sepearte barn type building hosting the guests. The toilets outside reminded me a bit of camping trip as a child. Not pleasant! The beer is great as they brew their own beer and they also offer Hefeweissbier from the oldest German brewery! The menu is quite extensive with the usual German fayre of schnitzels, they also do really good burgers, great Flammkuchen and what surprised me was a a page of Asian dishes! Overall it is one of the best beer gardens in north Berlin! Sadly I have to give it an average, as it is not very good but good!
