It's simple and one can not help loving it: you shop around for you bottle(s) in the pas mal wine store next door and then add a very modest 5 euros to have it poured in your glass in the dining room. The ambience is standard wine restaurant, service is extra friendly but could do with some speed (food arrived well before the wine and we had some probleme getting attention), the menu offers a reasonably small range (which is a good thing) and the actual taste does not dissappoint (althought I cant say it excites either). Overall, a very pleasant experience that wont have you braking the bank.

the restaurant is really nice. the atmosphere was great, the people serving us were really polite and always with a smile. also, they were very helpful about choosing the right wine for our taste and the dishes that we ordered. the food was amazing. everything we tried was really good and came at the correct timing. the restaurant offers a great variety of wines for every taste. the place does not have a private parking but if you go for dinner you will not have a problem parking your car outside the restaurant. we will definitely visit vinoterra again.

This is a great stop for the wine enthusiast, very accessible from the center of Irakleio, and worth the trip. Their selection is huge, they carry any kind of wine you prefer!!! The selection as stated is great, but the mezedakia, and food even better From your typical Greek spreads, to your Greek meats, and cheeses. The place is not to be missed, always crowded with the locals, tells you something Although the not cheap, but well worth the excellent wine served. Atmosphere is energetic and quite relaxed. Parking on the street is a challenge as most places in Athens

We have recently visited this good winerie and we all were very satisfied with the service, the immense list of Greek and foreign wines and the great food! The people there love their job and try to satisfy every client. I enjoyed very much the pork ribs, the risotto with an amazing taste of stuffed tomatoes , the tuna carpaccio and the salads. The desserts were also excellent and I look forward to visiting again this lovely restaurant!
