Went with a group of friends (8 total) on a Friday night. It is tucked on a small shopping strip and it has a market for peruvian products. Nothing fancy about, except the food. They had live peruvian typical music that night. The music was very loud and it was hard to talk. So we focused on the food and drinks. The sangria was very good. We ordered some big plates to share: Choros a la Chalaca, Tacu Tacu de lomo, pulpo y camarones sampler, big Jalea Mixta. Everything was very good. And the prices were very reasonable for a large group.
I LOVED La Bodega. Such a cool vibe! First of all, the food: amazing, cheap, great value, tasty... absolutely loved it. And then, if you're thirsty and want a bit of party (and as long as you're not wearing flip flops), there is the best bar area in the back! You enter through what looks like some toilet door, and you get into the coolest place! Drinks are amazing - I tried some spicy cucumber cocktail (first on the drink menu) and I couldn't stop! The music is varied, and the people as well. It's much less douchey than many South Beach places! Much more relaxed, with normal people who are not here to show off and "pop bottles"!! Awesome nights!
