I have been there two times and want to go again and again. I tried mushroom & pumpkin risotto, warm salad with wild mushroom, russian potato dumplings. All of them was perfect. I also tried tiramusu, yummy! I'm suggesting this place. Prices are expensive like all places in Moscow.
It was great to stop off here after snapping some pictures on the Red Square. It is nice to people watch and enjoy a bite to eat. The prices are a bit high, but that is as to be expected for the locale. I did find the service to be aloof, but they were attentive and quick. I also enjoyed the food (I had the ravioli). Overall, I wasn't amazed, but it was good food, decent service, and a nice location for a quick bite after some site-seeing.
If you are at Red Square or GUM, the dining patio here is a great place to stop. The food is good, a little pricey, but not ridiculous. The servers speak English which makes it a little easier. If the weather is pleasant than this is a great way to spend the afternoon.
I tried Cafe Bosco together with my husband between Kremlin sightseeing. It is a real cool place to chill if you are fed up by standing in crowded ques, and miss that Western sparkle. The prices are high, although not the highest compared to Russian standards, the waiters are very formal, and the guests are either very rich Russians or middle-aged Western couples. The Italian ice-cream was boring (which Italian ice-cream normally isnt) and our americanos tasted as something Nespresso-like. Very disappointing for such a nice place on the Red Square. We paid 2000 rubles for two coffees and two ice creams. Go there if you can afford it just to chil in a calm, nice, European atmosphere. If not, do something else and be happy.
