The place doesn't look amazing, though the staff were friendly. It lies somewhere between having true Italian charm and feeling a little cheap/tacky. The food took a while to arrive, and only one of the staff (who may have been the friendly Guisseppe that others have spoken about) spoke any English, but we still felt welcome. The food was very nice - left me wanting more! Perhaps could have had a little more in the portion size though (I had a carbonara, which was modestly sized. My partner's pizza was the large size that most Italian pizzas seem to be!) The cost was easy on the purse/wallet and overall it was enjoyable, but not somewhere that I would necessarily have sought out. However, since there does not seem to be much else around, it's a decent enough stop if you want something sweet and simple.
