Popped in here to refresh after visiting the basilica. The cafe crem wasn't bad, but they charge €1 to use the toilet which we argued with the staff about because we just spent €10 on coffee. They tried to tell us the toilets are only for customers??! Finally got through to them after a minute or so, but it wasn't something we expected to have to do. Ps, there is a urinal guarded by saloon style doors right by the two locked toilet doors, so blokes can piss for free while women queue to pay a euro. It's pretty disgusting in this day and age really.
Stopped for food and drink, camambert was microwaved within a inch of its life, staff rude rushed and unhelpful. Had to wait for ages to be able to pay, staff unhappy I was paying by credit card. Dont waste your time or money, this place is not a true reflection of paris, so many great places around....avoid!
Located near the Anvers Metro station, this restaurant is a convenient place to have a meal after visiting the Sacre-Coeur. There is an affordable lunch menu which comes with a starters and a main meal. Our party of five had a very late dinner at this restaurant (close to 10:00pm) and still the food was well prepared and piping hot. While the duck confit that I had might not be fine dining standards, it was delicious. The chicken and salmon dishes were also good. All in all, it is a good place to have a a reasonably good meal in the busy area of Montmarte.
