It was our first night in Paris and it was our first nightmare in Paris. We ordered steak medium rare but what we received was nothing close to an average piece of meat. It was horrible. We cut out all the lard and not only the steak was cooked rare it was not fresh at all. I complained to the waiter and he argued with an attitude that we ordered medium rare and this is what it is like. Anyway. I need to upload a photo of how bad the meat was so you guys don't fall into the same trap! Other dishes like salmon pasta and escargot were bland without much flavours. The only commendable dish was the duck... Will NEVER come back to that restaurant. Menu was overpriced too, very poor service. (Average spending 30EUR per person)
This cafe is on avenue Kleber and a short walk from the Arch de Triumph. Service very professional and the food very good. It is not an expensive nor is it a cheap lunch. You might consider it as your main meal of the day and enjoy something like the duck confit, which was excellent.
Where supposed to go to nearby Schum, but it was closed (will not try again). We had to eat so we to the nearest Parisian brassier, good atmosphere, but the food is nothing special. Will still give them thumbs up for the nice service, so if it rains and your nearby go there. Or if you want Coffey, wine or beer.
