We had lunch here and it was fantastic, we decided to return for dinner. Big mistake. The evening shift meant different staff and the waiter was so rude and condescending that we walked out. He didn't like that we couldn't decide on a beverage fast enough and he laughed at us with other waiters. I won't risk returning. Much better service in many other places in Paris.
A friend and I stopped in the neighborhood to see a movie and she had a light dinner, while I had the café gourmand, having already eaten. The food was good enough, the service fine, the setting a typical Parisian brasserie, with simple brasserie fare as expected, but I found the prices relatively steep for what we had. All and all, a perfectly nice place to eat, but nothing special.
Late lunch, onion soup (fantastic) and escargot as starters, veal as main course, bottle of Rose from Provence. Generous portions. Once we got started, service was efficient but not over friendly. Food and wine were very good, relaxing but a busy area. Some other diners loud on their phones. After lunch cordials, total for two 118,0 euros. Have had previous meals at this restaurant, staff makes the difference.
