I'm not going to deny the quality is good. Better than average even. But adding wasabi to everything without warning people is not a great idea. Good food but if you're not a wasabi fan, ask them to not add it to your sushi.
While the sushi is above average for Europe/Paris, the main reason to eat at Jipangue is for the shabu shabu, which is simply spectacular. Marblised beef, fresh vegetables, and fresh udon. Sauces are either soy/vinager or a nut/seed sauce. Sake, beer or Shochu complements well - also try the Japanese brut wine from Fujisan. Great, quick and attentative service. Excellent place to take clients or friends for a special occasion.
