A small forest enclosed with a suburb Toohey Forest is a small forest that can be found in the suburbs of Tarragindi and Salisbury on the southside of Brisbane. You can drive there or catch a bus. Griffith University''s Nathan campus lies across one of its boundary lines. The Environmental Faculty from the university do from time to time conduct surveys in the forest. A wide variety of flora and fauna can be seen. I have seen a fox run into the forest from the Gaza Road side (an exit of the M1 motorway).
