This place can sometimes be very busy and sometimes not. This restaurant is frontal to Tumon beach. So, if your eating lunch, after you can take a nice walk on the beach. Like wise in the evenings after dinner. However, dinner is much more expensive. It is not the same pricing as lunch! At dinner, there is a BBQ dinner right outside the restaurant, so it can get a bit crowded, especially when you need the restroom! This place is walking distance from Hyatt, Guam Reef, Outrigger and Westin. Check it out the food is excellent!
Went to Nana's for dinner and except it was extremely hot and the heat of the grill added to the heat, we enjoyed our dinner very much. The Filipino staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was very good. We had lobsters, steaks, crabs, prawns and chicken. We grilled everything ourselves wc is why I was perspiring like hell. Beer and sodas were bottomless. View was perfect w sunset glow as our view by the sea.
Our first meal in guam we were asking the locals where to eat since we are at the plaza they said nana's cafe by the beach is a good restaurant but we came in late because they were close 2pm so we tried other place. The next day came back to find out that they dont serve bbq for lunch. So we decided to just cone back. During our last night in guam we came back to try their food. And we were not disappointed the food is good try the baby back and the sampler. The service was really really good special mention the supervisor ms valencia very accommodating. Highly recommended.
I've been to Nana's Cafe several times now, to try different things on their menu. Their sukiyaki-type steak was cooked to perfection. And they are now my go-to restaurant for lamb chops, served with mint jelly of course. I've been lucky to have visited on slow days, right around sunset, meaning I got great service and a spectacular view! Most visitors go for the BBQ outside, but I prefer the quiet, cozy seated dinner inside. Also great atmosphere for romantic dates.
