The Food is good, The service is average if you visit them for lunch or dinner. Once it gets converted into a dance bar at night, the level of service will suddenly increase so will be the prices of food and drinks. We tried Chicken curry and seekh kebabs which were really good, so was the dal and paneer. The Food is a little expensive if you compare it with other Indian Restaurants close to the hotel.
Waiters totally oblivious of the diners!! Manager still worse. Stuffed Mushrooms = mushrooms fried with a batter totally unpalatable. If the guests know anything about Indian cooking and spices, you know the food is one of the worst in Dubai.
I visited Angaan after deciding that we needed to try some new Indian food restaurant. It didn't dissappoint. The food was really good, the staff was really friendly & the ambience was different....one that needs to be experienced (very indian). This was on a week day. I returned to the restaurant a couple of days later on the weekend, hosting a group of friends (over a dozen adults). The food was good as ever, something that is not commonly found in Dubai, however, the service was VERY VERY SLOW. This time there were a lot more guest & not enough staff to ensure the smooth flow while taking / placing orders. The food came after @ 1-1/2 hour (I ordered early, before any diners were in the restaurant & told them what time I want them to start serving). I would definately recommend this place during the week & if someone has the time to just sit & relax.....over the weekend.
