A local guy took us to Qavam Restaurant, otherwise we would never have discovered it. However, the place is very popular with foreigners since there are many hotels in that street. When we arrived, the restaurant was full of tourists and there were only two menus in English so we had to wait. We ordered Iranian food (meatballs). The food felt like a home-cooked meal and the service was friendly. Definitely a restaurant worthy of a recommendation!
We went here for late lunch and it proved to be so nice that we came back few hours later for dinner. We tried several dishes, all of them extremely tasty, the ranginak dessert being a marvel. Staff is very kind, and the 3 lady chefs cook fresh local delicious food. In one word, excellent. We wish we could have stayed more days to enjoy their cuisine. It is a small place, so you have a high chance to queue, but it deserves the wait.
