We visited the cafe to compare it with the one located on Tsvetnoy blvd. This place is closed to our home and located at the suburb of Moscow (just the opposite of the German Consulate). The cafe has a veranda based on the ground floor, but it is closed to the Pilyugina street. Be aware to chose the veranda if you do not like to hear sound of cars driven to Leninsky avenue. We took a table inside. There were a lot of people on Sunday evening (we were surprised). The atmosphere was friendly and welcomed. We ordered gazpacho, chicken soup, ravioli with rabbit meat, duck breast with pear, drinks and desserts. Total amount was 4239 RUB (about 75 USD). The food was very good (the quality of food is better than at the cafe on Tsvetnoy blvd.). The desserts were unforgettable: chocolate flan and semifreddo. We will definitely come back here again.
Good Italian food Pizza thin, never burned or black Pasta al dente with fresh and very testy souce. Very nice apetiser and good meet. Service polite and with good manners. Very good wifi inside with good coverage and speed. don't drink water!!! cost more than chianti!
Well, one should consider visiting this restaurant at least once to get the idea how different is the Russian attitude to Italian food. It is not cheap&fast at all. It should be rather pompous and expensive. But at the same time you can be sure that any wine you choose is good, that the Chef knows what to do and that the service is not going to disappoint you. But I would still say that this place is above average, but not so high above.
