It is my family's favourite Indian restaurant. Having studied in UK I think that the food is of very good quality. The service is excellent and very polite. Even the owners of the place take part in order taking and serving. One should try it. We will certainly keep on visiting
OK so here's the deal. This is an easy to find, clean, glass and warmth Indian - without the sitar music and incense. The food is authentic but rates about 6/10. The naan is too thick and not pliable. The whole meals seems a little under pre spared - which is fine for al dente Mediterranean but Indian is always well cooke so that the flavour seep into the meat. The Dhal was a little 'boned' and the tandoori paste was a little 'today' rather than yesterday's soaked in flavour. The cost is OK but not cheap. There are three nice waitresses who are very efficient. Meals are good size.
For Indian food lovers, like myself, the closure of the original Indian restaurant of Jaipur Palace was a calamity. Luckily, Little India opened and tries to offer decent Indian dishes at very affordable prices. Some are pretty tasty and 'original' (for European standards), some did not do that well (the nans were mediocre, Tikka Mashala's sauce was too garlicky). But for ex-pats desperate to eat non-Greek food and for the ones who want to taste the best cuisine in the world, this is a good place to start...
Yup, this is real Indian food (as real as it could be in Greece), we tried everything allmost the tandoori chicken was very good the lentils just fantastic the chickpeas also fantastic the salad nothing special just miss it the papa dam fantastic the tika chicken also fantastic. But the naan was a disgrace, I mean just do not order it, has nothing to do with the original. Just ignore it and you will have a fantastic time. it should cheaper though. Did I tell you not to order naan? sit outside, enjoy the non fake, not nouveau riche attitude, and if your budget permits drink mavrotragano by sigalas (red wine).
