A tucked-away coffee shop in Minimine St, Stafford. Limited parking at front, but plenty of street parking available. Coffee is very good, and a small but pleasant range of sweets offered. Sevice is fast, and the owners keep the place spotless.
This is a new cafe in suburban Stafford in a market that boasts a lot of competition. However, this new addition wins on its service and the great welcome given by its owners. A little family owned business that deserves support from locals and visitors alike. They even gave our four-legged companion a doggie treat! The food was good; made fresh by the owners. The tea was excellent. The coffee (Dancing Bean) was passable; but certainly far better than some of the other much touted venues in the area. Not a great selection of gluten free items; but the owner was happy to stock more on request. So if you are the type of cafe goer who likes to have a genuine relationship with the cafe owners, I would highly recommend Maple Cafe to you.
We had been told by 2 people to visit this cafe and did so today. Lovely young man prepared a delightful lunch for us, looking after my gluten-free requirements very thoughtfully. Delicious Turkish hamburger without the bread. Great coffee too. I live nearby and think this is the sort of place I could drop in for coffee and a friendly environment. Local businesses probably have good reason not to bring their lunch to work! Not glamorous but very welcoming and homely.
