Cafe 17 is one of the busiest spots in upper Lakeside, serving as a meeting point for paragliding pilots and a good place to relax between flights. Other than the central, easy-to-find location, Cafe 17 has great drip coffees and delicious breakfasts & pastries, in addition to the standard fare found in most places throughout Lakeside.

Cafe 17 has the best (and close to the cheapest) big breakfast around, which is why it's always so packed in the morning! Personally, I like to go for lunch when it's a lot quieter and I can eat a delicious, very reasonably priced vegetable omelette baguette with amazing fresh fruit salad. The staff are lovely, the atmosphere is relaxed and the food is great...what more could you ask for?
