I usually select my restaurants on the clientele I can see (Never have I eaten in an empty restaurant!) and this place was buzzing with people. I took a look at the menu and was pleased to see they had a range of foods other than the standard Seafood and Chinese Noodles. Reasonably priced for Hong Kong and the food was of excellent quality. I brought a couple of bottles of beer which were also reasonably priced. I could also view the ferry terminal from my seat so knew when to get the bill and head home. The service was a little off, but everyone on the island seemed to be on another plant, its one of those go slow places, which is fine by me, but a smile also goes a long way. Would I eat here again? YES indeed, I ate most of the Thai menu
Morocco's on Cheung Chau Island serves both Thai and Indian food. I like both but went for the Indian, having beef curry with rice and a nan bread. The curry was very nice and the nan so fresh. I was surprised how nice it all was, especially in an area known for its seafood. The service was very friendly as well, smiles all round.
