This niche bakery is a bit out of the way from the action in Toronto, but if anyone is checking out the further neighborhoods, then it is potentially worth a stop. The food could be considered to be a bit too sweet, and the concept behind the bakery seems to be that it is best to mix in a bunch of strange ingredients into their baked goods (though not to the detriment of the overall quality of the food - for instance pretzels on donuts). A lot of imagination goes into their food though, and while it is maybe not a place that would get visited numerous times by the same patrons, it is still worth a stop to check out the baked goods on display.
let me start by saying I HATE donuts - but this place is in my neighbourhood and you cannot walk by without being enticed by the smell of yeast and fresh donuts. Let me also say, it's not just donuts - it's cakes and cupcakes and more. They did a cake for my dad's75th birthday that was beyond awesome. And the Elvis donut is to die for.....still have yet to try the salted caramel donut, but I'm sure it's amazing. Very friendly people - EVERYTHING HOMEMADE....from scratch
