I visited here in March 2012, for lunch. The restaurant was empty except for one table of four people. The server was extremely pleasant - came to the table upon our arrival, and took our order professionally and efficiently, outlining the specials of the day as well. This was at 1210 pm. The order arrived at 12:50 - forty minutes later. There were a total of six people in the restaurant. The food was good - a creamed pasta with peas and ham, but the serving size - very very small, and I am a petite person! I could have eaten that three times over. It was $12 - expensive for a few teaspoonfuls. Prior to the dish arriving, we were served three pieces of Italian bread - with balsamic vinegar and oil. No butter was in evidence. The oil was as well - barely there. After one slice of bread (mouthful size) - the oil was gone. The rest of the bread (another two small pieces) was on its own. The specials board showed no prices - as most high end restaurants practice. This establishment is trying very hard to be high end. However - I just find the lack of information to be aggravating. The restaurant itself is standard fare re decor and location (strip mall). I am not picky when it comes to restaurants, but I was not impressed. Prices seem high for the quantity of food received. A bowl of soup is $7 (I did not try one!)
Had been twice before and had mixed impressions, but was really impressed this time. Not sure if ownership has changed or new management, but service was the best we have encountered in some time. Homemade warm bread quickly arrived after sitting . The music was not what you might expect- it was excellent. We shared a pizza, pasta with sausage and rapini in light tomato sauce, and beautifully cooked salmon. The busgirl was very sharp and pleasant. The winelist had several great choices and lots to choose by the glass. There were so many pleasant changes from last time we were there- we will return soon
