After trying Sabai Thai on Corydon and receiving terrible service we decided to try our old standby, Pad Thai on Portage. The server was very friendly and helpful and even though the restaurant was fairly busy our server was attentive and really made us feel welcomed. We had soup followed by a noodle dish and both were delightfully spicy and flavourful. This is Thai food st it's best. I highly recommend it.
When we were in Thailand one of the best things there, besides the people was the food. Pad Thai lets you relive that experience. The atmosphere is unique and very relaxing! The people are wonderful, and the food is great! If you love soup, they have fantastic soups. If you love curry, great variety! Noodles? The best...I could go on and on. Go try it yourselves, they will recommend dishes to suit your tastes!
When you enter there is a smell of old place. However, This place is clean, although there was just one person to seat and serve. She was very fast. I sat and had my drink and water in blinking of an eye. Order taken immediately and choice was asked if appetizers should come immediately or with the food. Nice seating and music. I was served my appetizers within 8minutes. The soup was excellent and served separately in 2 bowls to allow me to serve my self. The shrimp rolls were not that exiting compared to other I already tried before. The main dish was good and hot per my expectations. I would return to try other items as the menu selection is huge.
We were driving by and noticed the sign. we were able to get the wheel chair in and sit down. We ordered the shrimp medium curry and beef noodles. The curry was red and lots of it. I thought very spicey, but friend liked the heat of it. Noodles and bean sprouts and beef just right. simple restaurant but very friendly staff. was for lunch & about 10 people were in there
