This is a chain restaurant as we spotted others in our travels. It is fine. We had breakfast. They were on paper plates which tells its own story but the breakfast was fine. For quick and fine food its hard to beat. For a NY diner feel it scores low.
It's a Greek diner with excellent spanakopita, only they call it spinach pie on the menu and the waitress didn't know what I was talking about when I asked for spanakopita. Delicious! Fresh pita bread. The greek salad was fresh, but who ever heard of a greek salad with a "choice of dressings"? No! So, there was no typical dill-y vinegar and oil dressing.
Very solid diner!. It was my first time eating here on a Sunday morning for brunch. I had a very friendly waitress Marta who guided me through the large menu. Prices are very reasonable. The food is super fresh and the portions are quite large. I had the bagel and lox " all the way". Since I'm not a native New Yorker I learned that it means a jumbo bagel with a huge portion of lox, cream cheese, onion, lettuce, olives, cucumbers, capers and tomatoes. Fabulous!. My companion had the steak and eggs which looked good too. They have a ton of breakfast, lunch and dinner specials. I'll be back,
