We were here for their well renowned high tea. Very disappointed. The quality of food was just so so. The presentation was good. We were not seated inside the restaurant. We were just like sitting in the lobby, sort of. Worst of all they served us with a broken teapot. See pics attached. I would never never expect to see something like this in a fine dining restaurant.

I love a good buffet but I was a bit disappointed in this one. I don't know if the hotel was just a bit quieter than usual or what but I didn't find much of a selection. The waffles were a bit floppy and the potatoes - while nicely done with onions and peppers, were a bit soggy. It was only about 7:30 so I know they hadn't been sitting there for a long time. There wasn't really anything wrong with the food, it's just not nearly as good as I was expecting, especially for the price. The room itself is great, so many artifacts to browse and that fireplace! The staff are also really wonderful and as silly as it sounds, I like how the tables are laid out. I think next time I'll just try ordering off menu.

Over the last 25 years we have dined at the Rimrock on many occasions. Here we are after 25 years of Marriage still coming back to some of the same places that have given us experiences not to be forgotten. Both of us now need to adhere to a strict Gluten free and Nut free diet as we are Celiac and the Rimrock and their staff never cease to impress. we have dined at fine restaraunts around the world and sometimes hard to believe the best meal we have ever had was just 10 km from our home. the atmosphere coming to the front of the Hotel where the Rimrock is inside, the old stone architecture and vaulted, coffered ceilings to the excellent staff who took care of our every need flawlessly. We enjoyed the best Alberta Beef meal we have ever had and as being Celiacs this is sometimes not easy without the fear of getting sick after. They know their wheat and Gluten ingredients and we were well taken care of. Thanx Rimrock Staff for taking great care of us. you will see us again at our 50th and many times in between. Dan
