We had a disappointing Mother's Day Brunch. The price was enhanced as we were told; however, no Morning Glories were included. Despite a phone call with the Food & Beverage manager and and unanswered email, we have had no response which is an unacceptable way of doing business. We do not recommend the Windsor Arms brunch. $75 for food only is an exorbitant cost.

We had a rather disappointing brunch today at the Windsor Arms. My husband had made a reservation for a 10:30 a.m. time slot, since we had other firm commitments early in the afternoon. The hotel happily took his reservation, and even called to confirm it a day before. We arrived punctually at 10:30. When we arrived, we were told the restaurant wasn't yet ready to seat any patrons. We waited awhile, and ultimately were seated at 10:50 a.m., twenty minutes later. While we were waiting, I had an opportunity to raise the situation with the hotel owner, George. Instead of apologizing, he actually queried my timekeeping, and told me it was only 10:35. I don't know what time piece he was using, but I was going by my iPhone. The hostess at the front desk tried to explain the situation, by stating that all the food was made fresh today, and therefore matters had to be delayed. Another staff member indicated that they had trouble powering the chafing dishes.....rather inconsistent reasons. Perhaps some of the staff had a rough night, and slept in?? If all the food is made fresh daily, a solution might be to start preparations a half hour earlier, rather than keep guests waiting twenty minutes. Once we were seated, things did improve. The decor is elegant. The food was quite good. The service was adequate. We had to ask twice for juice, and twice to receive the bill. However, for $65.00 per person before tax and gratuity, I'm certain that other hotels and restaurants in the city would offer a better overall experience. It would be nice to patronize an establishment that appreciates our business, rather than one that keeps us waiting twenty minutes to be seated (especially because we were the only diners at that time). If they want to start service at a later time, it might be helpful to point out when accepting a reservation that they're not open for business until 11:00 a.m. We don't plan to return any time soon, and I can't recommend the Courtyard Cafe to locals, or tourist
