We have been here before but were disappointed this time. The bottom of half of our Pizza was burnt. We also ordered cinnamon sugar pretzels and I think they dumped a ton of cinnamon on and barely any sugar. The drinks were good, decent price but food lacked quality.

We have seen this establishment popping up everywhere in S Fla so we decided to give it a try. It looked promising but didn't quite deliver. Food wasn't great by any means but worth a try. We had Bruschetta, Cheese pizza and the best thing was the Enlightened Spinach salad.

There is just something absolutely magical about the pizza dough (and Esperanza salad dressing for that matter) at Mellow Mushroom! I absolutely love this place for lunch or dinner and equally split my orders between eating in and take out. I arrived around 11:45 for lunch and was meeting a few colleagues. Parking wasn't a problem but beware that sometimes during busy times parking can get a bit tight. The restaurant is in a "strip mall" type location and next door to a Firehouse Subs and a Starbucks. I was the first to arrive and was quickly graded and seated almost immediately. My server came to the table quickly and asked if I would like drinks while I waited for the rest of my group. Once everyone arrived, we were able to quickly order and our food didn't take long after that. For the table we ordered the Caprese appetizer and the Bruschetta. I ordered a small chef salad with Esperanza dressing and a small cheese pizza with extra cheese, well done. Everything came out perfect and was tasty. Side note: my extra cheese pizza actually had extra cheese pizza on it. Sometimes restaurants don't get it right! The only odd thing to me about this restaurant is that whether you were ordering takeout or tableservice they bring the salad dressing to you in plastic to go ramekins. Why not put the dressing in a normal ramekin so it looks fresher? Very odd... Also worth noting...I didn't order these this time, but the meatballs and pretzels are awesome as well. Definitely a nice departure from the traditional chain pizza locations that are easy to find and easily available for tourists looking for something "familiar". I love Mellow!
