A hidden basement entrance. I got a very surprise upon entering the sliding door. Best coffee, good variety of food. Excellent price. A perfect environment for office meeting and Frd meet up. I love the sofa seating. Too confortable to leave. Also secured wheel chair ramp for easy access to cafe. I will visit when ever I'm in the area.

Basement Espresso is a nice place to retreat to for a cup of coffee especially in the winter. Their breakfasts are good and reasonably priced. Coffee is good and I'm told the hot chocolate hits the mark. It can get very busy at lunch time and thus a little noisy especially if inundated with university staff and students but worth a visit if you're in the area.
