Will always be fondly remembered for the above reason, but that aside, there was several non-meat options (good for me as i am more of a pizza & pasta lover) myself and partner had the carbonara which you could tell was made from fresh ingredients and had a great home-cooked taste. We did not eat dessert here so did not comment on that.Prices for what we had were reasonable, but some meat options such as steak were obviously more, as is in the uk. Staff were okay, our waiter was polite and courteous.Restaurant could do with a little refurbishment but had a nice rustic authentic feel to it.Was reommended this by our hotel, and seemed the only traditional restaurant in the area so would recommend if staying near 'marconi' and 'san paolo' area.
First visit. No frills honest rustic restaurant. Waiter suggestive of best dishes, a T Bone for me a Fillet for the little lady. The steaks were divine. The assorted dishes of salad, roasted potatoes and spinach were actors playing small parts on the wings. The best steak I ever had. House wine. Water. Bread. All chargeable + 15% Service Charge came to €95 for 2 people. On reflection a difficult cost to swallow and left an uncomfortable flavour. It was the last night extravagance but means we probably will not return. The sdteaks are on the menu as €5 per pound, at €32.5 my T Bone was not that big. After complimenting the Chef I think the price went up. Take care, save the praise till you get the bill. Couldn't jusddstify eating here on a regular budget. Had planned to eat at Noi another local restaurant but they didn't answer the phone when I rang.
