For a little, local Italian restaurant, this is a reasonable, authentic option. The pizza is incredibly tasty, with really fresh, sweet base and tasty tomato and cheese sauce. Although we haven't been through much of the menu yet, I'd have to say that the pasta is not up to the same standard. The dish I ordered smelled oddly fishy despite the fact it was pork, and the olives and capers didn't really make for matching flavours. The house wine is good value, coming as 250ml or 500ml carafe. The staff seems authentically Italian and nicely attentive.
Went there yesterday since we had seen the restaurant on our way by a few days before, thinking at that time that it looked cozy. Lots of 'italian interior' but this night we sat outside thanks to the warm weather. Berlin is beautiful in the summer. We had carpaccio and a vitello tonato as antipasti and then pasta alla arabiata and linguine with mushrooms. All dishes were perfect, however service (quick and efficient) was a little robotic. No special attention were given to the customers, however they also were not neglected in any way. We had eaten in another italian restuarant the day before, and in our opinion the antica pizzicheria is a little too pricy compared to the other (almost double up) and at the same time the level was not higher.
