We found this unspoilt old Berlin restaurant as we were exploring the wonderful diverse and eclectic neighbourhood of PRENZLAUER BERG. We were here on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was maybe half full so getting a nice table was not a problem, we only went in for drink's and the staff motioned that this was no problem. We started off with a nice BERLINER PILSNER BEER,this was served ice cold and really fresh which was just what we needed as it was roasting hot outside. While we were enjoying our beer's we took in the interior of this restaurant, traditional all dark wood furnishings, great serving bar and nice light's especially the 4 illuminating the bar. Before we moved on we had one more beer, this time we had a beer we had never had before, jAROSOVEC BEER,this was just delicious and a beer we will certainly be keeping an eye out for in the future. Very easy to locate, jump the tram ( T10 ) down to LANDSBURGER/PETERSBURGER STRASSE were you walk down COTHENIUS STRASSE were you will find this wonderful traditional Berlin restaurant. Opening hour's are; Monday to Sunday, 4pm till 2am. We can't wait to return back to Berlin in August for the brillant Berlin beer festival and revisit this wonderful restaurant.
