I tried the lamb tartar - it was unremarkable at best - it had a rather bland taste and many small harder flaky bits in it - perhaps spice. It would be large enough for a meal, though. Lentil soup was boring and watery. Pasta with mushrooms and aubergines was OK but not something I would come back for. The small restaurant has quite a strong grilling smell to it - if I ever come again, grilled beef or lamb seems to be the way to go. Service was slow but reasonably friendly, and the Hugo cocktail was quite nice.
After having a poor meal the previous night and looking on Trip Adviser to find somewhere close to our hotel we identified this gem. The food was excellent we took recommendations from the waiter and weren't dissapointed as our German Isnt that great, his English was perfect. In fact I would say the food was as good as I've ever and that includes The Ivy, Browns, Savoy etc in London! Couldn't believe the price either, the same meal in London over £100 here Around £50, the previous night the dreadful meal was the same price.
