We have been to this place several times recently, and each and everytime the food is good and the service is exeptional. The house wine is $ 3.95 and the desserts are delicious and home made. The main courses and specials are fresh and tasty. Try the palomilla steak with congri and sweet plaintains, and the arroz con pollo. The plaintain soup is the best that I have had in Miami.
Two of us went on a weeknight. The complimentary bread and butter featured very stale, cold bread. The chicken strips were minuscule and tasteless, the side portions of rice and tostones (fried plantains) were large but cold. The lightly breaded fish was boiling hot, greasy and also tasteless; the rice and beans side dishes were nice portions but cold and, again, tasteless. The dessert was the highlight and that was only mediocre. Prices were quite reasonable. Service was very good. We have gone there before and had much better food, don't know what happened. Go elsewhere.
