My family and friends have been eating at Ho Choi for about 30 years. We gather here for Birthdays, Celebrations and even a Wake for my father's funeral. This is a family owned and operated restaurant in true Chinese style. Edmund and his family produce good food at a good price ...
This one is a tough one because I like their food only it is up and down somedays. We order take away on Monday night and got Spring rolls but they were very salty the my usually my favourite appetisers. The honey chicken is great from here can't fault it. The dim sims are nice and homemade the only problem is that there was fatty cartilage in the mince which put my wife of the dim sims that night. Service is good most night but when family feud is on watch out Ed like to watch the show than being attentive we wanted to order our drinks but was forced to wait until a commercial break. Frustrating to say the least. Like I said it is good food most night just have to be lucky not to go on the bad nights which is just on luck.
after ordering my favourite dish "chilli chicken with steamed rice" for lunch many times we decided to have a sit-down meal for dinner in the restaurant and so glad we did.. the food is authentic and fresh.. they are licensed & BYO (wine only) - the drinks are reasonably priced.. only bad thing, parking is limited and can be tricky unless you know the area and there are not very wide spaces between parks.. we noticed the restaurant is only open for dinner not lunch.. regardless we will be back soon..
